Contemporary furniture
Know of any nice examples of sites please? Met up with the guy I'm doing the site for tonight and he had all kinds of awful ideas I've got to guide him away from. That's fuckin' ingenious, if I understand it correctly. It's a Swiss fuckin' watch.

Cheers guys They're making contemporary furniture out of aluminium extrusion (?). The designs they have look very cool and I can imagine them doing ok. They've gone for the name Tsunami Design 'A new wave in design concept'. I can see where they're coming from but to me a tsunami is a huge mother of a wave destroying anything in it's path not some calm buddhist monk of a wave which is where they should be. Any thoughts? That's fuckin' ingenious, if I understand it correctly. It's a Swiss fuckin' watch.

You'd have hoped so. It's strange, like I say some of their designs are beautiful but then last night I met them in a pub and was handed a print out of a mock up website they'd done in Word with loads of clipart and flowery borders. I nearly choked on a peanut. That's fuckin' ingenious, if I understand it correctly. It's a Swiss fuckin' watch.

Well, once you find what you are looking for check out this furniture room planner. ------ Here's a not-so-quick question on the topic of furniture. I remember a while back (and I could have sworn it was herman-miller, but I can't find it on their site), I found a VERY COOL solution for a modular office. When viewed from above the workstations were unlike anything I'd ever seen in oval/egg shapes & with privacy screens that had gradients and came in different colors of blue, red, and orange. I remember really wanting one for my home office, but they were quite pricy at the time. Maybe it was herman-miller and the line is no longer in production. They had an awesome flash site on which you could browse the entire line on an assembly line. I rememeber it being quite cool. If anyone can sift through my vague description above and PM me or link the site up in this thread, I think smallbeer (and of course, myself) would really like it. I can't believe I can't find this in my favs...I save everything. fun: HGC v.4 | last.fm: DT | me | oi! f*ck u roto: ...via meebo!
