Also, why on earth would you need more than one browser window? That's what tabs are for.

I browse full screen at 1280x1024 (and if I ever switch to 1600x1200, which I do for certain things, I browse full screen there, too).

I'm surprised no one has mentioned fluid width layouts yet, they're a pain to get working right but when they do work they're usable by everyone no matter what res theyre running at.
