Moving from Dreamweaver to Homesite

In a bid to create lighter, standard's compliant sites I've moved over to building sites manually in Homesite from my previous (messy) Dreamweaver/ImageReady combo.

One thing I am missing is Dreamweaver's template and library item features - I can see it becoming tedious, especially when updating/tweaking large sites.

Is there anything I'm missing or a working method I should be using to make it easy to make small changes and ensure there are no dead links sitewide?

I use http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/uk/site.htm

And PHP includes to simplify my code. Easy as pie.

Try Dreamweaver 8. According to MM, it's code is so clean and standards-compliant you'll get free BJ's for the rest of your life.

My vote is for Dreamweaver Mx2004, DW 8. It is nice working with it. And if you want to go for Homesite, Homesite++ with additional functionality for application development is included with Dreamweaver8.

If you want more reviews, you should go through the similar topics through search in webhostingtalk forum.
