IE7 and css

I've been reading the latest .net and in it (almost as a throwaway comment) they mention IE7 won't be supporting CSS2, if this is true whats the point in the W3C having standards if Microsoft aren't going to play?

Thank you, looks like they will be supporting it. Those jouralsit hacks at .net obviously need to do more research

I think what .net probably meant is that their focus was fully implementing CSS1 and most of CSS2, though full CSS2 support wasn't the top of their priority list.
