Just been having my daily nosey around CSSBeauty and noticed they have added this site Interllectual Now i by no means consider myself a professional web developer but this girl does and i always respected CSS Beauty and other likeminded sites opinion but is it me or are there a few quirks with this site in both IE and Firefox like the menu being tempermental on occassions and overlapping text etc. Oh and there seems to be more than a bit of blank space on the site! Surely CSS Beauty would have noticed these things or maybe it dosnt really pay too much attention to things like that? the design itself dosnt really set me on fire with inspiration but maybe thats just me! I agree about the sloppy coding - text overlap at the bottom of some divs and borders breaking or disappearing (what - where did the rounded corners go?). I'm looking on an iMac using Firefox BTW. Disagree about the aesthetics - i like the colour palette and it shows a lot of crafting under the bonnet as well as on top. Overall it shouldn't have made it onto CSS Beauty until the mistakes/bugs have been fixed if you ask me. |
