Web 2.0 has reflections. Web 1.0 only had revolving e-mailboxes and visitor counters.

"web 2.0" was created over the course of 5 years by a group of Swiss scientists high in the Alps, in a secret laboratory. Their efforts were to find out what it is that makes the internet "shiny" and to replicate that into a form that mere mortals could use to enhance the appearance of their websites.

They created a special gradient which, when applied to graphics set apart on a clean white background, enhanced the "shine" factor of a website by more than 50%, and caused any visitors to step back and announce "Oh, shiny!"

Their efforts were hailed a success by the Queen of Switzerland in 2007 when they received the Nobel Prize for "Making the Internet a Shinier Place To Be"
