Hmmm Never heard of this guy til today so I checked out a lot of his site. Much of what he writes is fairly obvious - eg People don't like Pop pop ups etc DOH! Did advertisers really need to be told that - maybe there's a case for stating the obvious provided it is based on evidence but then he sometimes does not practice what he preaches eg warns against jargon and fancy words for the familiar yet calls his own regular articles "alert boxes"! A phrase I have never ever come across before! Also warns against hiding link target descriptions then embeds a link to Go Daddy.com when taking about domains. |
