This should, could, and isn't web 2.0

http://mywishlist.com.
That website looks as if it was designed in the 90s. Sure enough, it seems as though it was made years ago.

The way the website works is web 2.0 in the way that users can create an account, keep a wishlist, and share it with others.

From what I can see, it probably doesn't have an ease of use, it doesn't look simple, and it's quite aweful looking.

Just my take.

Good use of colour on the opening page, though. Don't like the way the whole thing is only about 600 px wide and left-justified. Floated centre would look much better.

Yes definitely designed pre-2000. Conceptis alright but really needs a better design.

This is totally a web 2.0 website in terms of its function. Collaboration of users adding content, that is usually short and to the point. However the design is not to the point.

It seems to me the 90's web designers seemed to want show more, or give more giving the illusion it is offering more. It is essentially throwing everything it has at you relentlessly.
