Amen.

Some good things are coming of "Web 2.0" - in terms of web applications, Ajax and the like, but everything in moderation. Web 2.0 is simply what the web has tried to be all along. Buzzwords kill. For example, "tagging". I see "tagging" as nothing more than slight modification on the concept of categories. It's really nothing new. They just give it a catchy name and a new-fangled look (tag clouds) and present it as something revolutionary. When it's not.

Of course, I prefer Glenlivet for the scotch and Jameson for the whiskey, but Dewar's is cheaper.
