Cause they aren't always decent usability experts.

If you make it pretty they will come and look.
If you make it dog shit and usable they will come, use and stay.

then it follows that if you make it pretty and useable then more will come and stay longer surely

Google

Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and this is my first post. Hope a warm welcome from this forum

I am a big fan of GOOGLE. I like their logo but I think they can make it look more good. But it really doesn't hurt as it is now.

I like google's every product like , google picassa, google page creator... but I really HATE google talk. There is nothing in it. No emoticons, no good interface... alot of features are missing which we have on yahoo and msn messengers.

Thank you
sadaf

I agree with you, but actually not. The information and service google is providing is excellent.

Btw. does anyone know about "writely"? its a web word processor which is owned by Google now. They purchased it actually. please visit http://www.writely.com/ for more details.

Well, this writely is not useful for me but may be in future, because I dont know where it will be useful for me. May be you find it good for you.

have a nice day.

ontopic - it's handy for storing code fragments and that.

offtopic - mik, they hired the stopdesign guy as their Visual Design Lead. can't say i've noticed anything change since he went there though.
