Visiting that site I'm reminded about how many Japanese site owners seem to have completely missed the point of 'shareware'. Back when I had my Nippon font phase I used to regularly visit japanese 'shareware' font sites. Many of the larger, more renowned outlets of that time (Warp, ShiftFactory, ...) required that you paid for the "shareware" fonts upfront. Pretty poor show to see that five years later and Japanese shareware font sites are still, by and large, absolutely f***ing clueless. Looking at the source code I'm not sure whether they've been very clever or very stupid. Given that half the download links don't seem to work, I'm inclined to opt for the latter. And why, given that the font preview site has an English language bias (Egyptian alphabet placed before Kanji and image links in English by default), couldn't they make the f***ing 'How To Buy' link point to a site that offered the info in English too!? Utter f***ing arsewipes!!?!? p.s. good morning, everyone. |

That's what happens when you wake up during the early hours of the night, switch on the TV and are confronted with Terry 'fucking' Christian or Norm 'fucking' Ski mouthing off like a couple of crack whores in desparate need of a good kicking. There was something on about mixing visuals with dj sets that looked good on paper, but was underwhelming crap in practice. It's criminal what kind of shit passes for 'creativity' nowadays. So much for pushing the envelope. AND my site's been down (for some) for at least the past 24 hours. Not best fucking pleased, me. |
