Free font pack
Does anyone know where I can download a decent font pack that is useful for making logos and such? My system is running Ubuntu linux, and the fonts that it came pre-installed with are not so good... I don't really know a lot about fonts, before when I used windows I just used whatever was available, but that wasn't much. On Linux there are even fewer good fonts. |

Download some Open Type fonts. They work on Linux for sure. Of course, you can try .ttf, you never know! 40+ Extremely Beautiful FONTS Hand-picked from deviantART | Noupe 15 Beautiful High-Quality Free Fonts | Fonts | Smashing Magazine praegnanz.de: Essays 40+ Excellent Freefonts For Professional Design | Fonts | Smashing Magazine My free fonts www.utfi.net

You are welcome. Remember to show us some stuff you use them for! And do try out a couple of .ttf fonts on Ubuntu. I'm not sure if they work or not and I'm interested to know. There aren't many people on DT who use Linux so we don't have much practical knowledge about what works and what doesn't. Maybe you can let us know how you get on. My free fonts www.utfi.net
