Yeah, if I knew how to design a font I would definitely be submitting something, in due time, but not yet.

If, say later this year or something, I had a font that I had designed would you take an open submission? (out of curiosity)

And I definitely think the site could do without *so* much flashing. I could see the flashing for your current special or something, but just about the entire front page is flashing, which is hard on my eyes after staring at the computer screen for 12+ hours

The rest of the site rocks though

To be fair I dont think he exactly had a nice welcome what with stealththingy shouting spam and saying his site was shit, then giving the url of a pretty poor effort of a site and claiming it to be great - hardly welcoming.

Maybe its my failing eye sight and progressing years but I don't think the Identikal site overly seizure inducing - there are maybe 3 or 4 small elements that flash, hardly the "entire front page".

Totaly, agree to that, I think that the site rocks and the fonts are awsome.

It's got a random flash thingy, so it depends what you get. It's a lucky dip.

Obviously better than dafont though.

As with the dafont.com site I totally disagree that this is a well designed website especially for navigation, firstly you don't know where to start... And I think you need a few more years at college, your work could be a lot better.

i apologise for my initial outbursts :P i was on my male period!

care to give me some pointers to improve my work (that could sound sarcastic but its a genuine comment!)

can i make one or two more comments about your site!

While browsing it, my eye tends to jump from one area to the next without feeling like i can settle on something and allow myself to actually absorb the information its trying to get across.. i think its due to the mix of subtle and bold areas that make it hard to focus, the flashing also adds to this problem, but i think that points been made enough!

obviously you've had a lot more experience than me in the design world, but i thought id share my opinion (in a more positive way this time!) so you can consider my thoughts!

on a side note: what software do you use to create your fonts? i'd like to get into typography
