Typography basics
Hi there. To clarify things, I must admit the only "graphic design course" i took for real, was a free course (paid by the government) where I learnt to use photoshop, illustrator and all that. But the fundamentals were pretty lousy. I'm trying to learn new things right now, and I was interested in learning all there is to know about type. Would you all be so kind to point me to good resources? I want to buy a pair of books - and surely i'll buy them in a pair of months - but right now my pocket is empty. Thanks in advance. Big thanks in advance, in fact. |

This book was recommended to me: Stop Stealing Sheep - it seemed pretty useful, but I had to rush through it 'cos some bugger put a hold on it at the library and I had to take it back after a few days... |

Five Simple Steps to better typography : Articles : Mark Boulton My best tip, would be to pay more attention to the white rather than the black and keep it simple. |
