if you've installed the japanese language options for windows xp or mac osx then it should be in your fonts directory (ms gothic for pc and osaka for mac.) just find the kanji you want online, copy and paste that text into photoshop (you must have asian text options turned on) and choose the font. This font is very basic looking. Sorry to be uncharitable about sending fonts but I paid quite a lot of money for my japanese font collection disk... you should be able to do it in the above manner. There are some Japanese fonts online for purchase, but there are not (to my knowledge) any free ones, except for the standard operating system ones. If you wish to to have a vector version of your font then things get slightly trickier under a non-japanese version operation system, but one way is to save an EPS of your work with the font layer non-rasterised and then import into illustrator / freehand. hope this helps. |
