Kinetic Typography...
I wanted to try creating some kinetic typographical pieces. But don't know where to start. What software should i use...flash, after effects...ect. Something along the lines to these: www[.]smashingmagazine[.]com/2007/11/19/monday-inspiration-typography-in-motion Thanks!! |

I think you should go with After Effects, they have a timeline and you can also have a 3d perspective, camera angle switching, moving image in front while camera moves, postproduction movie effects and all that lot. would tell you more, but haven't tried it yet, but my schoolmate did two pieces with them already and they look exactly like the ones on the links. hope it helps. |

i made one with flash which is on youtube. From that experience i can say don't use flash. It was horrible. If i had access to after effects at the time i would have taught my self that and used it. You get a much better result as said above with different camera angles and shizz like that. If your colours are starting to run, let them all run, run away from you. Flux - Bloc Party
