Typography Books

Okay, so the only thing I know about fonts at the moment is whether or not I think they look good in whatever context I see them. This makes finding & choosing typefaces for any designwork i'm doing both difficult & monotonous, so i've decided to learn more about the subject.

Does anyone have, or have opinions on, any of the following titles?

- Stop Stealing Sheep and Find Out How Type Works

- The Elements of Typographic Style

- Encyclopaedia of Type Faces

If there's titles you think would benefit me i've not mentioned, please post them here

TIA
