decent program to browse fonts on your system?
looking for a good, hopefully freeware program for windows xp. it should be able to preview installed AND non-installed opentype/truetype/adobe fonts from various sources (dvds, file directories, etc). install and uninstall fonts at a whim. i currently use fonthit font tools and it would be perfect except it crashes all the time. suggestions? |

Give these a try. I've used Fontloader for the past five years, and it does what it says on the tin. Freeware - Moon Software My free fonts www.utfi.net

Got Suitcase at work.. seems to do the job, although its forgotten my font folders on occasion. You just turn fonts on and off within suitcase and they are immediately seen by any other programs. unconsolidated isoparms

I've always used The Font Thing It's free and does exactly what you expect of it. |
