I have been given the wonderful task to find new fonts for rebranding our company. I have found a couple of font families but would like some suggestions for some more ideas. My three right now...Alinea, Frutiger & Generica Condensed. We currently use Futura family for Business & Avenir for Consumer marketing. I can't use anything we currently use. All fresh, all new. We mainly design DM, Inserts & Print Ads (some billboards). Any creative ideas will help. |

A serif would be the obvious move from Avenir and Futura. Go for something that has a historical link with your company, its trade and location. It's easier to corroborate your choices if there are tangible reasons, beyond looking good. |

I work for a telecom company we are located in 26 states but mainly in the midwest. We also have a very large demographic range. I was thinking serit for sure...we need someone easy on the eyes. Since we work mainly on direct mail we need something quick, eye catching with a wide variety of weights. One of our biggest issues is space. Our Marketing team loves to put everything in one piece. Not good but reality. |
