Lucida Grande comes with OS X, so the majority of people won't have it. Nothing to stop you specifying it first in a list though, with helvetica or whatever afterwards for the PC users.

Code:
* { font-family: "Lucida Grande", Verdana, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; }

Remember those splash pages that said "Looks best in IE 6 and 1024 x 768"?

I think we should do that with fonts: "Looks best with Lucida Grande or Helvetica".
