propaganda/soviet typeface

Every day I walk past a soviet-era building with a slogan on it and I cant recognize the typeface. I have browsed trough my fonts for 1,5 hours and I am so darn sure I have seen it somewhere before. If anyone could help it would be much appreciated.

Just in case steveb happens to see this thread I´d love to have it translated to proper British English *hinthint.

It literally means "Honour work!" but that sounds a bit stilted so a comparable slogan might be "Have respect for work!" Or it could also mean "Respect your job!" Difficult to know exactly what was in mind.
Strange it should still be there after 16 years but I guess the idea is as valid today as it ever was.
No idea what the font is, but I wouldn't mind getting my hands on a copy either!

"Au kirjatüüpile!"
