lotsa fonts?

I've been designing for quite a while. I'm starting to get into the font type genre of design. I see a lot of people on here who know a little something about fonts, and seems like they have many of these fonts. I'm sure not all of you have paid for these fonts, at least at an independent price. I'm wondering if there's some sort of fontpack with some great fonts or if people just pirate them. I'm mostly looking to obtain avant garde ,with alternates.

i basically just asked if there's a good fontpack that has a lot of fonts without paying individually for all of them, which is costly. Or if there's any other way to get good fonts

Good way would be to buy them? :P

Complete avant garde family pack for £195

And Adobe has some cheapo sets, not hugely impressed by the variety

I'd like a good variety if I were going to buy a fontpack. I know about buying the font family through sites like fonts.com, it just seems like it's way too expensive. I would buy one font and be out of money for a while after that. Nobody has a better way.. I.E. possibly torrents

it's not illegal to p2p, although I was only asking that for a last result. I'd prefer just to buy a good fontpack with a lot of good ones in it than search around for specifics on a torrent site

I think you'll find it IS illegal to breach the rights of individual fonts though, and p2p does that - all that five users only stuff? :P
