Font Browse and Print software?
Hey, Does anybody know of any nice little free PC program I can use to browse and print my font collection? I currently use Adobe Type Manager to install and activate fonts but it doesn't really have an browsing function. I tried downloading a few programs but they only browse TTF and most of mine are Post Script. Ta! Jase

No. And you shouldn't have so many fonts on your machine that you couldn't use your eyeballs and common sense. The reason why the internet is stuffed with free font download sites is because it negates the need to stuff your hard-disk with every available turd.ttf. They'll still be there when you need them. |

Well, I know that. Most people don't do that, though. Neither could they. I use free fonts on the net, who cares. Doesn't matter, if the output looks OK. Did you check out Gentium and Lido? |

I can not allow any type with flaws go to print, even if noone notices it I still know that all the rubbish is there. I´ll check those out but as I assume they are not free for commercial use if you meant that they are good and worth using |

Gentium is superb and utterly free - that's for sure. It supports every language which uses Roman, Greek and Cyrillic type with hundreds of ligatures and special knobbly bits. Gentium — a typeface for the nations |
