Is there a way to try before you buy with fonts?
I want to use Gotham rounded on a project however I am not sure whether it will look right or the client will choose the specific design that uses that font. Spending $200 if something doesn't go through seems a bit steep, is there a way to test a font first??

Haven't got Gotham yet, but Vag, Bryant & HR do the job nicely (particularly VAG, it won us a pitch last week

Some foundries have a nice preview option where you can type in a word (client's name or such) and see how it looks in that particular font. You might try that and then do a capture for your comps so you'll have an idea of whether or not it will work.

Thanks kBarret. This site has a great preview function ourtype.be/ Although, it's a shame foundaries don't offer fonts that have a 30 day trial so designers can create pitches, but I suppose fonts are way to easy to pirate.
