Typographers?

Hey, im new here and I need alittle help. I'm wondering if any of you know of any good creative typographers, Ive searched google but I cant find what im looking for. Its more along the lines of messy type combined with image maybe. Quite like the style of David Carson. Ive looked at a few others like neville brody etc but it aint my cup of tea! If any of you know the book 'all messed up', its that sorta style im going for.

thanks!

Actually I think that may be Jonathan Branbrook? He mostly does typography posters. You may also want to check out Vaughan Oliver, Werner Schneider, Peter Hall, Phill Banes...

From experience, the best place for typography insperation is found in printed material. Do you have a design library in your school / college? Look for Baseline

Baseline magazine? Eek its a bit expensive on amazon... like 125 for a few issues. On their site it is like 84 dollars for four issues.

I liked some of Neville Brody's stuff; especially the graphics which were done in Freehand & Photoshop in the days before a click of a button gave you bevels and such.
