Font Conversion?

I have a few fonts ending in .PFB & .PFM
Problem is, Fontbook doesn't like them.
Are these fonts strictly Windows?
If so, are there any decent font converter programs around that won't rape my wallet too much?
cheers

make sure you check the newly created files carefully afterwards. i've used fontographer to create pc fonts from mac fonts in the past and it can screw the kerning and other font attributes - which is why i don't do it anymore.
