Yeah, not great. It's shot nicely, but the story is slow. It could have been Get Carter does America.

Saw that yesterdayit was a little disjointed, but cool in it's own way, also Man on fire, which was much better.

The Limey = great cinematography, lacking an interesting plot.

Saw this one recently - very entertaining, but it lacked real dramatic urgency. I was never really concerned about "would they make it on time to save the world".

Other movie I saw recently was Garden State, which was OK. A good first effort, I'll say that much. Relatively charming, but almost too hip because it was trying so hard to be hip. Too many self-conscious Graduate references.

Yeah, I preffered the alternate more "action film" ending, so I guess that doesn't make me so appreciative of the pathos tony scott was going on about

sometimes it's just nice to go out with a bang

Hellboy, one of the better comic adaptations, currently dreading Constatine, though sin city looks to be shaping up well.

Aviator, certainly more interesting than I expected. Couple of real funny moments, and a pretty good performance by Mr De'caprio, I'd almost forgotten he used to be an alright actor after some of his more recent dirge.

Not a film, but saw the FireFly box set (joss whedon sci fi thing) the other weekend, and it was fucking great - ended up doing the "24" style marathon, and only snatching a few hours sleep before getting up to finish it off..

and at 12 quid for the box set now on amazon it's a bargain - really looking forward to the film they're making of it..

Really enjoyed Sideways - quirky oddball comedy with lots of boozing.

Ive had to put up with plenty of customer moaning about Sky Captain recently saying that it looks like a snide copy.

Spotted about 15 flaws in "Man on Fire" although I quite enjoyed it.

Watched "City Slickers" other day. Cant beat watching films that you used to love.

Being forced to watch "Bridget Jones" and "White Chicks" tonight...GREAT!

Also saw The Aviator, which is well worth a watch.

And if you haven't seen Team America, that's good for a laugh too.

Bridget Jones is actually a good film - there ya go I said it.

My grandmother-in-law informed me yesterday that her late husband took her to see Deep Throat way back when it was released in the cinema... TMDI!!!

Say 'Are We There Yet' at the weekend - don't bother.

Have I seen anything worth recommending lately? No.
