You know us wanky yanks. But seriously, though, m8...I wish you had posted you were considering Taxi before you'd seen it. I know a Hollywood ball of crap when I see one. I recently looked up a recipe for shyte in the missus' cookbook and Jimmy Fallon and Queen Latifah were the main ingredients.

The Notebook was tolerable to sit through with the missus, but only for sexual favors. If there's none of the latter involved, read the book.

LOL - nice recipe book you got there.

Considering Spanglish and Napoleon Dynamite tomorrow night - anything in there for them?

Napoleon Dynamite's a good film.

Watched Hostage t'other night, wasn't expecting much, and was pleasantly surprised. Stay away from Hide and Seek, great build up completely spoilt by the peice of turd ending.

hehe i saw the trailor for it and thought "nooooooooooooooooooooooo!"

then, stupidly, i started watching it round my mate's house and had to leave. i've never left in the middle of a film before. even steven seagal ones. queen latifah is not funny and the film lacked all the charm and wit of the original.

That Directors chair that UCI cinemas are doing looks pretty good.

http://www.uci.co.uk/index.php?page=...omotion_id=209

Get to watch some of the decent independent releases on the big screen.
Reckon it will be that "I Love Huckabees" next for me

I'm with you...he did a great job with Three Kings (which I think was his last movie).

Napoleon Dynamite was fairly reminiscent of John Hughes films, even down to the music. not quite in the same league but still an enjoyable watch.

Spanglish... Watched it all the way through but wouldn't watch it again.

Watching "Being John Malcovich" thought it was decent, Mr. Kauffman never dissapoints.

Also watched "Max" which was an interesting take on the progression to the beginning of the Nazi's

Watched The Life Aquatic t'other day. Probably the best film I've seen in a long time. Brilliant.

Wife had me sit through 'Confessions of a teenage drama queen' and just as I suspected it would be, what a total sack of fucking shit. So if you have found this post through google while searching for Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, save yourself the cash and just poke yourself in the eye for 80 minutes.

Also had me watch 'Jersey Girl' which seemed almost bearable after watching "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen - don't do it - buy crack instead" but was actually only slightly less shitty.

Alot of the critics have slated it, but I have to agree and say I thought it was brilliant.

lol, sorry m8...once again I could have saved you. My fiancee made me watch Jersey Girl...purely shyte.

I did watch the Motorcycle Diaries (Diarios de motocicleta)...I wish it was dubbed instead of subtitled, but it's worth a watch.

Finally got chance to watch Garden State. Thought it was very good. There were a few cliches and over stylizing but overall I like it alot.
