I just watched The Terminator, haven't seen it in years.. absolutely brilliant stuff. Cyberpunk overtones just make it all the better! God knows how they went so wrong with the franchise, there's such rich material to work with.

And I guess you can say the same of the Predator and Alien series.

Saw Youth In Revolt at the weekend. Nothing spectacular about it but it is pretty funny. Typical Michael Cera fare, so go see it if you like him.

I get the feeling he’s a bit bored of playing the virgin intellectual role.

Seen Youth in Revolt at the weekend too. I thought it was a decent show. Michael Cera was very good at playing the bad boy character.

I thought The Road was a brilliant film. It was depressing but in a good way because it told such as excellent story.

I thought The Road was a good film, bit depressing but nothing as depressing as Harry Brown.

I like The Road too - far better than your usual turgid Hollywood post-apocolypse shit.

Well acted and filmed but was quite bored watching it - no where near This is England or Trainspotting.

Watched Some Mother's Son last night. Excellent film about 1981 Hunger Strike in the Maze Prison, Northern Ireland. I can't believe it never watched it before.

Is it really that bad? Was gonna watch it tonight.

Didn't think much of This is England. Watched Harry Brown the other night tho - quality film. Like an East End Gran Torino

Food Inc. is a 100% worthwhile viewing experience. Highly recommended, it does a good job of trying to educate more so than preach.

I saw Shutter Island last week and found it entertaining, definitely great filmmaking. The acting is quite spectacular as well, the only thing that bugged me a bit was the very familiar "twist" ending. Aside from that minor blemish a truly engaging story.
