This christmas I've watched Vertigo, Spirited Away & Dr Strangelove, really enjoyed them; Hitchcock and Kubrick are two of my favourite directors, I've got The Birds and Rear Window being delivered soon from the sales.

Rear Window for £2.99 - bargain!

Frighteners!!

I just watched this again for the first time in many years. I feel it is severely underrated. I really like it alot. I also didn't know it was Directed by Peter Jackson. Of course, Peter Jackson wasn't very well known when this movie was in theaters.

Apocalypto. Great.

A religiously ambiguous bloodythirsty chase movie set in the 13th Century in a South American jungle - how could it go wrong!

Last Kiss - has all the keys to a film starring Zach Braff (although he didn't write and direct as he did for Garden State). Songs by Remy Zero, Coldplay and Cary Brothers -- like Garden State. Co-starred Michael Weston -- like Garden State.

Garden State was better IMO, but this one is worth a watch for all late twenty-somethings/early thirty-somethings.

saw "perfume:the story of a murderer" last night.
interesting and probably very ambitious - but the ideology is way too flimsy...
good acting (not sure about dustin hoffman though).
