Great though

French film, you've got to see it - if i say anything it'll spoil part of it - it defines "head-fuck"

Watched "The Wendell Baker Story" a few days ago... don't waste your time. If it comes on TV it's worth a few minutes, but definately not worth the ticket price...

Like it a lot - not only a good story, cast & acting - but stylish to boot.

Munich - some damn fine acting, and some dodgy accents. Not a bad film except for the twin towers ending ... bit much for me like.

Finally saw The Pianist this weekend. had to grit my teeth during a few of the harsher scenes, but I thought it was top notch.

On the complete flip side, also saw The Notebook, which wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but really pulled out all the stops to get that old lump in the throat thing going. Rachel McAdams is fit though..

Agreed. Excellent work. As quiet, dignified, and respectful as any WW2 movie likely to have been or ever be made. I loved it.

Haven't seen that movie, but I agree.

Finally saw Big Fish this weekend. Speaking of lumps in throats...

I saw Elizabethtown. I'm a fan of Cameron Crowe (Jerry Mgwire & Almost Famous) and I wished it had been as good as either of those two, but it just tried too hard, rambled on, and failed miserably. It wasn't as terrible as the reviews I had read when it was in theaters, but it wasn't great either.

It had a find soundtrack, too

If you hate him, that's fine. You're entitled...

I do have a soft spot for Jerry McGuire, but that's just because Renee Zelwegger is in it - and I have a hard spot for her.

Say Anything was good. Sad that he peaked as a director on his first movie.
