Minority Report was OK.

Films featuring Tom Cruise that I actually like off the top of my head:
  • Eyes Wide Shut
  • Magnolia
  • Born on the 4th of July
  • Rain Man

Most are fairly good for entertainment value, but he's not known as an actor with much "depth" you might say. Except in Magnolia - he was fantastic in that. Though it probably has a lot to do with P.T. Anderson being a fantastic director.

Rainman was all Hoffman, Magnolia's cast was good enoiugh to carry him, Born the 4th was quite a good performance - a Fluke, but eyes wide shut was really poor considering it was from one of the greatest directors ever. PGO - join the dark side - you hate him really

I never said I liked HIM. I've just liked some of the movies he's been in.

I think he's a delusional retard in a cult of delusional retards.

Interview with a vampire was a good film but not because wanky boy was good in it, The films where he does OK is when the rest of casting is awesome other wise its all the way

I am closing this Tom Cruise discussion - he's shite and that's all there is. Made famous by his timing and the fact that millions of fat teenage girls thought he was great in Top Gun, which is well gayer than you'd think. It's gayed!

Oh, there's that. I forgot about that.

Cameron Crowe's only decent flick besides Say Anything. Cameron Crowe. Now there's a pretentious twat who makes movies to show off how hip his taste in music is - if I ever saw one. WE GET IT YOU HAVE DECENT TASTE IN MUSIC. What a fuck.

Risky business, Top Gun, days of thunder, cocktail, Interview with a vampire, Mission Impossible, Minority report, Magnolia - The list goes on. Tom cruise is one of the most consistent actors in terms of film success over the past two decades. you say you don't like him but say it's because all the girls fancy him and because top gun was gay - you are blatently a closet homosexual, don't take it out on tom.

the acting is awesome.

Naomi Watts's performance is brilliant, nearly as good as she was in Mullholland Drive.

Saw Serenity tonight - loved it, I did watch the brief run the story had as a series first, and loved that too, so I may be biased, but I say go check it out - a rare gem.

Been re-watching some films the last few days and would still recommend them as much as when I first saw them... not exactly oldies but not new either.

Terminal - love it, simple entertainment without being simple.

Dogma - one of my favorite films... trying to get my wifes devout Catholic family to watch it. I've introduced them to my 'buddy christ' on top of the TV. They were not amused.

Being John Malcovic, or however you spell his name - as good as the first time.
