had already shown in Japan and
both films were massive hit there.
Check the director/main actor of the movie,
he loves Bruce Lee so much, he goes to gym to
make his body looks just like him. Respect.

Watched the special features, says he wanted to make a sequel where he cheats on her and becomes the equivalent of Mrs. Robinson.

Really hope it never happens.

Also, Im more Kung Fu then Shaolin Soccer. There were like 3 scenes that weren't crap. I'll just stick to my purist films like Iron Monkey, thats some quality stuff.

finally went to the cinema to see star wars and batman begins. got to pretty much agree with everything i've read about both - the acting in SW was shit, but as a spectacle it was fairly enjoyable (and better than ep1,ep2) and batman was actually pretty good I thought.

I need to go see them. I keep procrastinating. Most people I've talked to said Star Wars was pretty lousy. Not as bad as the last two, but pretty lousy.

On the other hand, everything I've heard about Batman Begins is raves. "Better than Tim Burton's Batman!" and so on.

I can't wait!

just watched Sin City. thought it was great - it's always good when a film seems faithful enough to it's source that you're sure you're probably missing out on a load of history yet is still easy to follow and fun at the same time. mickey rourke and willis were good, as was elijah wood, and overall it's stylish as fuck, particularly liked kevin's glasses. violent as hell too, in a cartoonish kinda way.

good original cinema - looking forward to the second installment

haha, just watched Kung-Fu Hustle. it's surreal at times, a kind of cross between jackie-chan style comedy kung-fu and a live action road runner cartoon. very enjoyable, if you like this kind of movie

Yeah, wotw was a very tense film, but ultimately, just a bit shit.

Saw Ong Bak last night. Great film, some shockingly bad acting, but the fight scenes more than make up for it.

First hour for WOTW was great, then the only way I can explain it is like if you're writting an essay and its 3000 words and you realise you only have 100 words left to fit everything in.

Anchorman is brilliant!
