300's out now isn't it?
i'm very tempted to download it, but i think i should wait for the cinematic experience.

anybody seen it?

300 looks like incredible. From the looks of the trailer, it looks almost perfect. For this kind of film, I'd say it's worth 10 bucks to see it in the theatre.

But this is probably the sanitized version - it's OK to show decapitations and traumatic amputations but the American public wants to be protected from seeing a bumfuck.

it's not very good. visually it's pretty stunning, sure. but the script, the story and the ending are all pretty awful. i left feeling nothing - also the end credits were really badly done which just made it worse.

It's basically one long, super stylist, awesome fight screen. The plot and script are very lacking. I enjoyed it but it was throw away stuff.
