Yeah saw the trailer for that, off to see asap. However missus reckons she is 'too scared' based on the stuff she saw on the trailer to go see it. Pansy.

Anyone seen 'Cronos' by the same director? Shit hot.

Will have to have a look at this. I watched Cronos a few years ago, good film. Also enjoyed The Devil's Backbone and Hellboy.

Did anyone see Mirrormask? the trailer reminds me of that. I feel a bit like your girlf Lukasarts - don't think I'd handle the torture scenes in Pans Labyrinth. I'd rather wait for the dvd..stick it on small screen that way - my pillow can hide most of it.

Yeah I really liked it - love Dave McKeans stuff. Especially the graphic novel 'Tale of Mr Punch'..

You'll have to watch it, then let me know how it compares to Pans Labyrinth?

I can safely say it was. I had to damn well queue out the door to get in, haven't had to do that since Batman. Only arrived with one trailor to spare!

Just got back from watching it, absolutely superb. Harrowing/tragic but beautiful and wonderfully directed/acted/made/everything.

Pan's is a great movie...! I've seen you've deviated just a bit from that subject, but alas, it is still incredible! Have any of you seen it yet? Officially it doesn't release until Friday (in NY/LA) but it's been screened a LOT.
