A Beautiful Mind

Just watched it on BBC1, thought it was great. Russell Crowe was rather good, if a bit over the top sometimes, and Jennifer Connelly was brilliant as his wife, as well as stunning.

I liked that film, though they could have done so much more with it.

it's annoying, I think Crow is a total cunt, but can't help enjoying his films and I'll grudgingly admit he's good at what he does.

Jennifer Connolly however...

didnt watch it cos they left out so much from the guys actual life. Like the fact that he was bi-sexual or gay - cant remember which right now but nevertheless a pretty major part of the guys life I think

Ooo - Get You !!

I watched and thought it was a great film/story. It wasn't about his sexuality anyway. It didn't bother me who he was shagging....

Bet you he had thousands of shits throughout his life, but that doesn't mean they have to include toilet scenes....

You missed out on a good film.

C'mon it's a film not a documentary, anyway I thought they did not want any implications that homosexuality and schizophrenia are linked, a damn fine film in my opinion - try watching it purely on it's cinematic qualities not it's documentary ones (as all hollywood Biopics should be)

I guess...it just fucked me off a bit when I read about it on cinema release. Most of them do if they are not factually accurate... a bit like the Braveheart film by mel Gibson a few years ago. I just dont see the point of them.

Plus the reason the homosexuality was left out was because they thought it would affect box office takings - which undoubtedly it would have in America. Somewhat cynical?
