How are you organizing your email, do you have some fancy folders such as type of email, sent from or date sent etc. Or do you just keep everything in Inbox?

I need to organize my email in a neat way, trying to figure out the best way.

a folder for each client, then sub folders for each project.

saying that, there's currently over 3000 messagse in my inbox.

Once a project's finished I archive off the emails along with the rest of the project then delete them. Personal stuff just hangs around until I can be arsed to clear it.

I have seperate folders for enquiries etc too.

I use Mozilla Thunderbird - with folders for each client. I've set up rules for emails to be automatically forwarded to the appropriate client's folder. Otherwise, half the emails would be lost in the obscene amount of spam that I receive.
