Just installed this great opensource program, VLC Videolan. Within one minute of installing it i'm sat here watching a movie being served as a stream from my desktop on my laptop! Even has wizards which let you set the level of caching, what time to start playing the movie, etc - just what i've been looking for. Check it out -

Yeah, VLC's great. Have used it for a while now. Never any problems with codecs or anything. Love it.

Such a good app...
Comes with any Mac with Tiger (OS X.4) !
