So, which FTP software do you use? SmartFTP? FileZilla? WS_FTP? Something else? I'm currently using FileZilla, but the problem I have is that everything - files, folders, images, etc - look the same when I access a server...I have to check the file extension/file type to be sure I'm changing the correct file! Now, this isn't a huge problem, but what I liked about SmartFTP was that it was easy to glance at and see what was going on. I can't be bothered to decipher what each line of black text is - I need icons! The problem with SmartFTP is that it costs $$ to use commercially. Maybe you're using something I've never heard of and can open my eyes...or maybe I should stop being a cheapskate and just buy SmartFTP... |
