Selecting things in CS2

Hi there,

I've just upgraded from Photoshop CS to CS2. As with most upgrades, there be a slight learning curve, which I'm getting on top of now.

One problem though. In CS, I could select the contents of a layer (not the entire layer mind you) by using Command and clicking on the layer. Say, I had a circle in the layer, it would select this and not the whole layer.

Well in CS2 it doesn't seem to do this anymore. This key combo now seems to be used for multiple layer selection.

Anyone have any idea what I should be using? I tried the help pages but it's hard to know what to look for (I did try though).

Thanks if you can help!

Sorry, managed to solve it myself.

Usually Command clicking the layer in the layer window would do it, seems now I need to command click the little preview image of the layer instead.

Oh well, back to work!
