i use a trial version of Fetch. they've never made me pay to use it. dunno why. i've just always had the option to 'purchase next time' ::: TC Magazine :::

online folders/directories or local hd folders? (…for local people) online. you'd do that most easily through your webspace control panel. local. You can use Apple's own util Disk Copy to create 128-bit, p/w protected volumes which can be used just like a folder. Alt, you can use permissions to set who has the ability to view/open/read/write into any file or folder, but it's only any good if you are the only user with root/admin access (highest privs). There's also utils like FolderGuard, FileGuard and HideMe and no doubt quite a few others (check VersionTracker.com) |
