Rivendell

www.poweredbyrivendell.com

this was recommended as a good content management system by Oqpo. has anyone else used it? if so, how difficult is it to set up and maintain?

Doesn't Oqpo work for NetXtra (the folks who developed it)?

Looks interesting on the face of it though. Might download and have a play.

haha. that would explain it. i'm weighing up the benefits of using either Rivendell, and trying to get my head round setting it all up or goin for the easier, simpler route of going for Contribute. still not sure really

weird pricing strategy. wouldn't like to go down the rivendell route as it might force you to make functionality decisions based pricing. if you get me...

i know, i've never seen anything priced depending on the amount of fields in a database you use. and it'd be very hard explaining the costs of such a system to a client. half way through they'd probably tell you they want twice as much info put in but with no extra cost.

totally. you'd also have to plan everything to the last detail in order to get a quote together.
