I see an earlier thrad about this, but I'm interested in any advice/tips/useful links whatever, about after effects.

I want to produce a digital animation over the next year using after effects, photoshop & illustrator with the view to maybe entering something into resfest or similar.

I'm thinking the best way to tackle after effects is to buy a book (any suggestions?) rather than struggle with it from the start.

can you download a demo to have a tinker with (or do you have it)

I am sure there was a thread here about after effects.

yeah - you started it actually - after effects

just thought I'd start a new thread in case there was any more info available since then.

I've got version 5.5 but have not really looked at it that closely yet.

Have you been using it much? how have you found it?
