Floating libation anyone?
|
I know this thread is about a week old, but hasn't the "official" IE7 download page been on Microsoft's site for quite some time? FWIW, I used FF to download the initial files needed to get IE7...it felt wrong, but oh so right. fun: HGC v.4 | last.fm: DT | me | oi! f*ck u roto: ...via meebo!

yeah but the deal with "It's Coming!!!" is microsoft are pushing it out as a 'high priority update' and not just leaving it for people to choose to upgrade. That's fuckin' ingenious, if I understand it correctly. It's a Swiss fuckin' watch.

It fucked up EVERYTHING on my machine. I shut down all tasks except for the bare minimum needed for XP to run to attempt a conflict-free install of IE7, too. Still bollocks. I couldn't connect to the internet, Outlook couldn't find mail servers...and, gray, DW did lose some of its site information. I system restored back to IE 6|point|whatever and old reliable FF. Forget IE7 for now. I'm switching to mac. WTF, MS? Is it that hard to upgrade a browser? FF updates all the time without issues. fun: HGC v.4 | last.fm: DT | me | oi! f*ck u roto: ...via meebo!
