Looks as if it's built ontop of Eclipse. Might be worth a look

since the newsgator takeover of topstyle development has seemed to of dried up.. looking for a replacement, anyone tried aptana?

I've installed it, and looked around in it a bit. It's eclipse based and looks okay. Didn't have any webwork to do so haven't really tested it yet.
