Hi!
I installed Illustrator CS on my OS X run Imac last night and while it seemed to have installed fine, I don't have any color palettes, picker and boxes. No colors! Is it me that's too dumb to figure this out or is there something wrong with the software?

Did you go up to the windows option, scroll down to swatch libraries and choose default CMYK, then save that as your work space.

I got a question, do you know where i can find the font "MetaPlusMedium Roman"?

I can't even find my colors! How could I possible find the metaplusmedium Roman? LOL!That being said, thanks for the answer! I will try what you said.

Go to >Window > workspace > default.

Sorry, I won't do it again! I just thought there was not much activity on the software forum so I posted on the general forum as well. Is that a capital sin?

Yes. Just use the 'New Posts link at the top of the page.
Displays all new posts.
If a post is new it'll be seen there.

When I go in the window menu, there is no workspace :-(

Nope, don't have that. But I am on a Mac if that matters... As far as the "dodgy" copy goes, I don't know... A friend of mine passed it on to me...

Same on a Mac as PC.
Sounds like a hooky copy.
