the "new" batch of adobe sofware

its really annoying as there are some good extra features for indesign but no way can they warrant the prices thay ask

So I take it Photoshop CS is basically the new Photoshop 8?

I've been waiting for this release.

P.S. What are the prices like Mike? Can't seem to find any UK.

<edit>Just found prices for full product are same as previous collection but you get GoLive bundled in too so they are actually better value than before. Think I'll be getting the standard package for £915</edit>

i am not sure - surely version 8 would have more features

i think this is just a rebranded hash. They are competing against the mm mx suite and i think they dont want to be left befhind.

Some of the extra features would have been in indesign 3, illustartor 11, ps 8 etc but i think they have just rushed this out and we will expect full upgrades later in year / early next year

Really?

I'm fairly sure that Photoshop was inline to be upgraded to 8 this month?

Anyone know more about this?

they're calling it the all new photoshop, so I htink this is PS8. Some quite good features by the look of it. Definitely a better upgrade than V6 to V7
