Using win 2k, outlook 2000 sr1. Having troubles when I close it down, the window goes but it appears to be running in the background; I bring up Task manager but it doesnt show up in that. Have to reboot pc and then I see the emails I missed while it was open but not open. Other times Ill open it, hear the hdd activity but it doesnt actually open and I get the same troubles again, have to reboot. Anyone have anything similar or any suggestions ? Due for a re-install soon so Im sure that will clear it up, just putting it off as long as possible at the mo. ..................

It's funny you ask this...and although I'm not in the same position...I'm running XP and I have many accounts set up in Outlook. I have send/receive set up to check for messages every 5 minutes and it's NOT checking ONE particular account and I'm getting password errors. I have restarted outlook...rebooted, and still nothing works. I also KNOW all the info for that particular account is correct. I'm thinking maybe someone sent an attachement that this particular POP account can't handle. BUT...I'm also thinking, with oli's post in mind also, that Outlook is a piece of shyte! fun: HGC v.4 | last.fm: DT | me | oi! f*ck u roto: ...via meebo!
