Apparently, Flock is a "social browser" - which I guess means it's geared toward the blogger crowd? Not sure what they mean by that. |

It won't end. I'm getting kind of tired of it all, too. All this "Web 2.0" nonsense - technorati tags, pingbacks, trackbacks, social networking, "iPod-like user experience", organizing with "tags" as opposed to directories (this absolutely doesn't make sense to me). None of it really makes sense to me. I tried to get on the bandwagon, but it's getting difficult. I'm beginning to be repelled. I have enough going on with a full-time jobs, a few sites to keep an eye on, a project now and then, real-live friends, girlfriend (someday...), and the rest of it. Gives me a headache. |

I downloaded and installed it and... It's Firefox, with a couple of extensions and a skin. How disappointing. What is this "tags" business about that you get with delicious and so on? It all seems like a complete waste of time to me. PGO, I'm with you on all that. It's bollocks. I don't have that many bookmarks that I can't find what I'm looking for. And I don't have the time to start "tagging" them for other people's benefit. |
