Oscommerce customisation
So I've got to do a customise job on oscommerce. I know a little php, and I was wondering if the ppl who've done this can recommend the best method of doing this. Ie. Do you build an html version and then adapt, or alter the existing templates? Also, is there a way of working on it offline without having to upload and test with every change? |

what have you got to customise? the design/code??? if you need custom functionality then look at the 1000's of pre-existing mods at http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions. If none fit exactly it might be easier to mod an existing one than start from scratch. If you need to customise the look then check out the templating systems at the above URL - each of which should have a how-to guide. |
